Really awful and uncomfortable film. The actors were top notch and I liked Mark Ruffalo’s performance. But despite having great actors, the story line and amount of explicit sex in and out of a brothel, as well as having children in one of the sex scenes watching to “learn from their dad how things are done,” and lesbian sex was too much for a film which can be so freely watched by anyone on Hulu. This film needs a different rating with a more detailed warning ⚠️ on the disclaimer. This film is definitely for 18 years and over. There were aspects that I liked (more of the filming, costuming and set design), but the story…… terrible.
