It was a struggle watching this movie. So many scenes were confusing and unnecessary. There was no chemistry between Elio and Oliver, who have a concerning age gap. The "flirting" is not cute, it's just weird. And the ending was disappointing. However, I liked the aesthetic; the visual style and scenery were great. It was just sad to see what could've been a good movie in such a beautiful place.
