Good Monday morning,
I’d appreciate you reading my review. Just at this moment before the segment took a break at around 7:54 this morning. Your cast was speaking about Will Smith and the fact he had withdrawn from the academy. Then the closing statement from your panel was “he certainly had a moment”.
I’m appalled. As a victim of domestic violence, should my abuser have been given a pass by simply saying “he certainly had a moment”? Is physical violence on some sort of sliding scale now? Where we are able to give an acceptable to a non acceptable level of negative physical touch?
We are so very careful as to not offend many people in our country these days but battered, abused and traumatized people apparently don’t make the cut when it comes to your program. Adding to the PTSD that so very often is associated with these circumstances.
Do better.
Kindly,
Jena
