The epic tale has been narrated well. Must watch in 3D. 99% actual story has been picturised, rest 1% contemporary creativity. I would recommend watching with family, as kids, if you have, shall feel the glory of our past. I especially loved the scene where yajna is being performed and colourful birds sitting in a line on a tree branch are chanting vedic mantras alongwith sages and lions and tigers sitting on the top of elephants are spectators. If you have read those epic tales of our mythology, you will feel those scenes coming live on screen. Kudos to the team Shakuntalam..love you all for such a nice presentation and wish you all the luck..
