Maddie Burrows

If I was rating the book series, it would be 5 stars but unfortunately, this is for the movie. I felt like the movie was a little rushed and missed a lot of the events in the first book of the series. I am a BIG fan of this series and was slightly disappointed when I watched this movie. We really didn't meet some of the characters as much as we did in the book and I felt like we were unable to make a connection with them as well as we could have in the book. Also, I felt like John and Sarah's relationship took up the entire movie rather than focusing on John in particular. I understand this makes sense because the first book is when they met and had their memories in Paradise but we don't see any flashbacks in the movie. Overall, it was okay but if I hadn't read the books and watched this movie, there would be sooooo much information I would not know by watching only this.
