Within the first 5 minutes a friendly 'creature' gives birth and is killed moments afterwards. Add another 5 minutes and her newborn has it throat cut and is shown lying in its own in a pool of its own blood. Really, is this necessary in a movie geared towards kids? Completely unnecessary.

Boring. I usually read a Grisham book in 2-3days. Ive been reading this one for about 3wks and am only 1/3way through. Not going to bother finishing, it feels like a chore. Plot is boring, characters are flat and one dimensional, just not a good book.
