It's a decent film. Not the epic and nowhere near the story of the original, in fact, the story in this one is absurd at worst and corny as hell at best, but if you're willing to get past that you will definitely be entertained by the fantastic fight scenes, visual imagery and cast performances expected of a Ridley Scott film. As an example, Denzel characters story is absolutely ridiculous, but his acting is probably oscar nomination worthy

This might be the worst film I've ever watched in my life. How a great premise for a story can turn into such a terrible story and execution is beyond conceivable. That Demi Moore (who surprisingly has starred in some great movies) and even Dennis Quaid would sign up to this utter nonsense is beyond me!! How anybody is giving this film more than 1 star based on its content rather than the current political climate, which goes no way to justify how bad it really is, is beyond me. Do better hollywood

Oh dear, everything about this is terrible. The premise, the story, the acting, the sets, the effects. Who the hell greelit this nonsense?!

While the performance of Bullock may be the usually exemplary affair, the story, and particularly the 'twist', made me wonder what exactly was the point of her characters wasted life experience or the title.
