I’ve been playing for a week now. Graphics are good, play is smooth for the most part. But it seems wildcard yet again just ignored their player base. No new maps besides scorched earth yet. We finally have mods on Xbox which is ok I guess. ( if it wasn’t for mods I’d be left with only two maps to play on). But I give it one star for this simple reason, and it’s the same reason I changed my 5 star rating for ASE. The non- dedicated servers still have player tethering, and just like ASE, in ASA you give us the option to adjust the tether distance and then just take the option away. And 180m isn’t enough for personal exploration when playing with friends on non dedicated. It’s absolutely ridiculous that Wildcard did this yet again. So I’m stuck playing alone or joining a dedicated server just to be harassed wether pvp or pve its absolutely disgusting. Wildcard you need to do better than this. All it is is a money grab forcing people to buy dedicated servers on Nitrado and then needing to go through hell settings the server up. If Wildcard decides to bring back the option (which they will not because they don’t give two monkey sh**s about anything except profit) I’d be happy to give 5 stars. It’s even more insulting because we had the option then it was removed. I was so excited to be able to set tether distance and to finally just play with friends and family with freedom of exploration while the others did their own thing. Thanks a lot wildcard, you really know how to tease, and piss off your player base.
