Great characters and they were very well cast. I missed Carter when she left. I don't think the show was quite as good without her.

I love watching great actors portray complicated characters. This movie fits perfectly. It is a movie that unravels slowly, allowing the viewer to connect, think and absorb. Perhaps that is why it is poorly rated. There is conflict, tragedy, revelation and healing, but without nudity or bloodfests. I would watch it again.

I was mesmerized. Great casting choices. A very strong and independent Cathy, an irresistible, obsessed Heathcliff, and the worst (and therefore best) Hindley I have ever seen.

Great cast. Enjoyable plotlines. Wish it had lasted longer.
