Okay look, did should it have won a GOTY? Absolutely not. But does it deserve the harsh feedback that I keep seeing online? I'm not sure. Yeah yeah, the storyline is weird and the gameplay is pretty bare bones, but with that, I think the game has a pretty specific target audience in mind. I think it's a quaint little game with easy objectives, cute music, wholesome voice acting, and even though the mechanics of flying as a bee suuuuck, I have NOT laughed as hard and for as long as when my sister and I tried to figure out how it all worked for the first time. We spent a good 45 minutes trying to race that first bee and FAILING. HARD. I promise, even if there are plenty of gripes, you will find at least 2 things to like about Bee Simulator. :))
