You would think a killer POV movie would dive into the killer, but it doesn’t, you get the same dumb exposition from a teenager and two quick scenes with the killer and who he is. The rest is him walking slow and stiff. It’s not drug out, it’s cheap and full of filler scenes.
Was excited to see this movie because i love “slow burn slashers” and was excited to see a new idea come to light in this film… Slow is an understatement, this movie has no soundtrack so you listen to and watch a big dirty Johnny walk through the woods for an hour.
The old-esque look of the film is fine, little bit of grain to it, but the cinematography is lazy and cheap. The POV portion of this film has one back shot of the killer which it uses most of the film, then a birds eye shot over the top of him.
The characters have to get dialogue out while the killer is walking around them, so the dialogue is forced and corny and tries to hard to be something different. When the characters are on screen compared to the killer, it feels like completely different movies.
Two fine kills, nothing worthy enough to save the movie from being worthless… Its boring and a waste of money and time, but the best part of the movie was diving into a little bit of the killer w a toy car scene. It ends to quick and doesn’t do anything. Also, the end is dumb and does nothing for the movie.
