Gorgeous and not too stuffy so that even one such as myself can enjoy the dialogue the costumes the beautiful architecture set design. Like so many others have said there isn't one bad performance in this film and this is my second viewing and I am liking it even more.

I don't understand low ratings on this movie..just watch the unedited version. I NEVER am bored by this movie. I have watched it numerous times I just now upgraded my original 4 star to 5 stars

The first time I tried to watch it I couldn't watch it all the way through ...( Like some others have said ) I couldn't relate to anything... snow? I'm from California... pregnancy? Never been..but back to the snow...Sheez such alot of it. Now after 3 complete viewings I think it's a unforgettable and completely original masterpiece on the conditions of human nature..good or bad.

I read all the great reviews and was expecting something much more. I actually was bored at times.

Absolutely an original that gets under your skin... extreme in everyway but ultimately tenderness somehow survives.
