I thought season 1 was great and I thought the latter half of season 2 was good. Season 3 dragged on and season 4 was different. My biggest complaint about the show is how repetitive the situations are. The characters never seem to grow. They go through the same scenarios over and over again in different ways, without realizing they can be fixed the same way you see them fix situations earlier in the show. It makes the characters unrealistic.
