I read this book in my Latin Literature Class, and I must say, no other book has made me feel so much. There's so much I can say without giving this book justice. The unique style of writing makes it engaging, the scenarios feel realistic, and it carry's a great message about how it feels to live in an abusive household. 10/10.
PS : anyone who thinks this book should be taken out of the curriculum. Shut up. This book is perfect, and if you really wanna shelter your children of everything new, then you're gonna have to lock them in a cage. The point is to teach them before they teach themselves. Have the talk, explain what puberty is, and don't have unrealistic expectations about them being perfect saints.
