I think my fiancé was either joking, or confused, because he told me this was based off a true story. He fell asleep halfway through and here I am up at 12am because wow. The whole time watching it I thought “even if this is a made up story it’s still a damn good movie and story”. It had me almost crying several times. I now feel some relief knowing it wasn’t real lol but wow. Definitely pulls at the heart strings.
