This is my first review of any film. This Sankranthi, Trivikram delivered a very good engaging film with a plot so heart-touching and well written that it elevated the performances of everyone involved. In this symphony of talent, Mahesh Babu emerged as the virtuoso. I find myself questioning whether the experience would have been as captivating with any other actor in the lead.
This isn't your typical fast-paced drama; it's a slow-burner, devoid of over the top theatrics, where emotions unfold with a profound subtlety. The director resisted the temptation to resort to gratuitous violence or over-the-top drama for impact, a choice that sets this film apart. Instead, Mahesh's portrayal of a son who loves his mother but torn by hard to comprehend or indifference by his mother takes center stage. His nuanced performance would have been overshadowed in a blaze of violence or hatred. And his father character guides him into a understanding mode instead of give up mode.
This movie isn't just a fleeting entertainment; it's destined for longevity. Music and background score is novel in this film but will be appreciated and similar films may use the theme in the future. There are certain subtleties which will be appreciated probably in second watch for some. A compelling narrative. A triumph that leaves an indelible mark on your soul. And u come out of it with a feel good factor. "
