Cameron Hays

This book has an extremely narrow niche, but it fills that niche beautifully. If you want to know EXACTLY what was happening in the punk/post punk world day-by-day over the span of two years, this is really your only option. It doesn't elaborate, it doesn't explain, it just lays everything out for the reader to glean from. If you don't know these bands, this book won't help you out. If you are new to post-punk, this book will be cryptic and annoying. If, on the other hand, you are an academic, a music historian, or just a nostalgic fan of the era, it is amazing.
