This was one of the best movies I've ever seen. However, I do have qualms with the historical accuracy of the film. The film states that there were no inhabitants surrounding the bomb testing sites which is not true. There were many downwinders that have had a long history of cancer and health issues. They have been disenfranchised to this day by the United States government and are mostly indigenous people.
That being said, while I do think this film romanticizes Oppenheimer and the beginning of nuclear destruction, I loved watching the development and discussion not just a bomb but a new ethical and moral realm. I think Kant would really like this film if he were alive.
