I dont think this movie could have been more on the nose. It was so obvious, like a movie script written by a 12 year old unaware of clichés.
There's magic natives, corporate white father, brat daughter, special son, clueless local wife.
Mix those with a sound track of flute music, predictable plot, and cultural blindness
sprinkled with bad acting and dialog,
and you have this mess of a film. It's entertaining but painful
