Its a Godzilla movie. You were expecting an oscar worthy film. If you are a fan how can you give any Godzilla movie where Godzilla is a man in a rubber suit anything less than 4 stars. The part that got me the most was when Gigan walks past the skyscraper and there are literally dolls representing people. We've come to expect miniatures in G movies. From vehicles to buildings to whatever. It's a big part of part of what makes them so fun. I know I for one dreamt of taking my model airplanes I built as a kid and recreating the battle of midway. This is the first time however, that I recall seeing such a blatant substitution for people other than obvious life sized dummies in some scenes. There were better Godzilla movies but can any of them be that bad. Especially when Godzilla and Anguirus have a conversation.

I was in high school when this first came out and since I was a big fan of British humor (Monty Python, Reginald Perrin, Fawlty Towers, Are You Being Served to name a few) I figured I'd give it a shot. I was not really into politics and knew nothing about British government but it didn't fail at the British humor. I'm watching it again in 2024 and if anything its even more poignant and just as funny. If you like shows poking fun at politicians you will love this.

1 hour episode with 5 minutes of game play. The 5 minutes is fun but not enough to dave this horrible show.

About as meh as you can get for a sitcom. Its not awful but it certainly isn't good. Kevin is a pretty unlikeable guy. He selfish and mean spirited with a hugely inflated ego and sense of self importance. I'm only half way through season one and since I found out what happens in season 2 I don't know if I will continue to watch. Edit: So I've decided to give season 2 a chance. It hasn't gotten any better. Kevin is the same old incompetent buffoon he was in season 1. Might even have to knock it down a star because they got rid of Donna. At least Chale is still around and the best part about it is Rootger.

Oscar worthy? No, but Don Knott's is just plain funny. I've seen this movie maybe half a dozen times and it never fails to put a smile on my face.

I'm afraid to go back and watch part 1 again. My memory tells me it was hilarious but if it was anything like this I'm not sure. I can watch Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles over and over and laugh like crazy so I know some Mel Brooks humor stands the test of time but other than a few chuckles through the first three episodes of HOTWP2 this is just not funny. I'm so disappointed.

Tough to know how to rate this. As a serious movie it was so stupid it deserves 1 star but as a comedy it deserves 5 stars. There were so many "so dumb it's hilarious moments." You've got to hope that is what they were going for when they made this or you are going to lose all faith in the movie industry. I've watched a lot of these movies but this just might be the worst...or it just might be the best depending on how you look at it. My guess is that if you are even thinking about watching this you have a pretty good idea of what to expect. I also suspect its the kind of movie you are into so I will say go ahead and watch it. You won't be disappointed. Or maybe you will be but you will love it either way.

If you watch this as a sequel to Caddyshack and try to compare the two it falls extremely short. I saw this when it first came out and thought it was one of worst movies I had ever seen. Of course that was when the original was fresh in my mind. 35 years later I watched it and tried like heck to not think of the original. That wasn't really that difficult since all the two have in common is Bushwood and Chevy Chase, oh and the gopher. When I was able to do this I found this to be a rather enjoyable movie. Jackie Mason is no Rodney Dangerfield and Dan Aykroyd is no Bill Murray (in this case anyway) but they hold their own... Well Mason does, Aykroyd not so much. Randy Quaid adds his own unique performance even though it is the same performance he gives in every movie. So as sequels go this movie sucks but as a stand alone movie it is worth a watch with an open mind.

Cute but not as funny as the series. Worth watching for fans but they toned ALF down a bit. Don't expect the rapid fire one liners like the series.

Much better than I was expecting. The cgi birds were pretty good. They had reasonable screen time and didn't have superpowers like some of the creatures in other movies. Most of the characters were not overly stupid (besides Dale) and their thinking and actions were, for the most part, fairly rational. All in all not as cheesy as many other creature features.
