Beautiful film. Updated to meet the times. Picture was a bit dark in places but didn’t spoil the film. Sound was beautiful throughout.

I really enjoyed Dr Strange 2 but recommend watching the Disney+ series WandaVision and What If... before watching this as there are many layers to this film that build on stories from those series. Dr Strange 1 was so underrated but delivered on so many levels. This film has a lot more to live up to with the development of Strange in the MCU and it does this very well. The film isn't perfect. Some of the characters felt rushed / under-developed but were essential mechanisms for the overall goal of the film. Perhaps more time should have been taken to develop these characters... or maybe we'll see more of them in the future. Cumberbatch is such a good actor and so right for the role of Strange. He brings elegance and sophistication to the character with equal measures of weirdness. It was also nice to see Elizabeth Olsen but I feel sorry for Wanda. Prepare for sadness and horror.
