A very rustic feel to the entire movie. The director has kept the story as grounded to the roots as possible. It is not a cinematic journey in terms of grandeur but it definitely is a cinematic journey for someone who wants to understand how change can be truly made with intent and the right focus. Some people who are used to a FILMI story might find the narration to be slow and tedious but the those who like realism and rooted to truth will love this feel good movie with a very important message. I would heartily recommend this movie for the way it has presented the core message without diluting it with romance and violence ( which have been tacked very maturely as well!) . A must watch for those who love simplicity .

When I saw so many negative reviews by acclaimed critics I knew this should be a movie to watch. And the vastly underrated actor that AB Jr. is - has done an excellent job. I did mention Jr. because unfortunately for him his father has been someone who is still active and an undeniable talent - And Jr. has always been compared to him - VEry unfortunate for the Industry . He is an actor who has grown vastly since Yuva days and has the rare ability to become the character he plays . Whether he is the Guru or Bob Biswas or Chaudhury - He aces every role with great aplomb. Yami Gautam is also a delight to watch with her controlled nuances speaking a lot of words. Right from Vicky Donor to Dasvi she has played different characters and has really done well in every one of them. Still cannot forget her heart warming portrayal in Kaabil where she matched Hrithik in every scene. And she does the same in Dasvi as well. Every character is very well etched into the movie and there is not one actor who feels out of place . Will heartily recommend this movie for the social message but more importantly for the way it has been conveyed. Must Watch.

The 2 stars are only for Ranveer! HE has actually aced the role. Apart from his acting and dialogue delivery there is nothing really worth seeing in this movie. Still remember my dad saying we did not get to watch history when Kapil Dev made 175* against Zimbabwe. The sub plots are cheesy and the one liners of the team bonding maybe a redeeming factor. BUT the selection of the other cricketers is really way off the mark. Clever mixing of original footage with the movie has helped the Director. For me the year 1983 when I Was just about to step into teenage years will remain special and a thanks to the original folks agreeing to be a part of this movie but nothing else is worth having a watch. I would still watch the original final game than watching the glorified version in this movie.

One of the best series to come out this year I do not know why people compare this with the actual technical CM who occupied Bihar in real life. This series may have taken inspiration from that real life story but deviates completely from then on to create magic on OTT. I must say that the acting of all characters playing main lead ( Seriously there is only one MAIN lead in this !!) and supporting roles have enacted their roles in santulan with the spirit behind the series. The main lead is the star of this show and has shown real calibre of her acting prowess. The story - the buildup - the changes in characters - the real life awareness of how the situation enfolds in the series - All make for a very compelling watch.
