This movie is not what it says on the cover, but I have never been so happy to be admitting that about a movie as this. Never have I seen the humanity of armed conflict being portrayed so vividly.
The character portrayals and dialogues were so spot on, while maintaining the pertinent sci-fi element of the narrative

The movie takes a lot of inspiration from the games, action, fight sequences and VFX are top notch, and the gore and brutal nature of the MK universe is shown aptly; however the character development on every character felt rushed, and the weird concept of the "Chosen Ones" and "Arcana" made no sense. The fan favourite Kano wasn't treated too well either, and his storyline could have been better planned
