I found it a bit depressing, very real in it's portrayal of country life except I thought it further back than '80s. It was dragged out but one great lesson was Joe's character, there's a lot to be said for keeping your mouth shut, he could have got into trouble many times if he was a different person. A case of less said easier mended.
