I really enjoy this show and watch it every morning. Jeff and Carolyn are perfectly balanced as co-hosts providing entertaining repartee and informative, interesting interviews. The discovery of insulin was profiled in the April 6th 2022 show which I'd like to expand upon. It's commonly believed that Banting & Best are credited with the discovery of insulin but The Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine in 1923 was awarded to Dr. Banting and Professor J.J.R.MacLeod. These two men shared the award money with Dr. Best and Dr.James B.Collip, who was born in Belleville, ON in 1892. An Ontario Heritage Trust Fund plaque was erected outside the Belleville Public Library in 2014 commenorating Dr.Collip as a co-discoverer of insulin.
