i do NOT even know where to begin with this show. bookstore manager Joe is a very beautiful man who also puts chills up your spine all the while making your heart throb at any given moment. he’s a deep romantic willing to go as far as he needs to, to get to the girl he believes he loves most. with many obstacles standing in their way... he’s ready to rid of them with any tool he’s got. she’s high maintenance this girl but he puts up with it if it means laying next to her at night. although he’s deep in his feels for Guenevier Beck, you never really know if she truly feels the same way. they want to be with each other of course but Becks friends.. family.. and job make that hard(not to mention she gets around). joe is willing to risk all those things for their love. this thrilling love story is told from the monsters point of view putting reasoning behind everything he’s doing while narrating it all so we know exactly what’s going on in his head. now normally narrations get really on my nerves. but when he’s narrating it’s not that robotic monotone voice you’d usually hear. he puts feeling and humor and sass and everything there is to it behind it. he’s a monster he really is. but while knowing what he’s up to.... it almost justifies what he’s doing. he’s disgusting.. a creep.. a stalker. but seeing that “good guy” sort of “AMAZING boyfriend” side of him really gets you. i’d let joe goldberg stalk me ANY TIME OF DAY. 🥰

i’m told my feedback helps others decide what shows to watch. my goal is not to TRY to get you to watch this. i’m simply telling you to. at first the show may seem like another raunchy teen flick.. but it’s so much more than that... a lot more. of course you can get pretty stereotypical when just reading the title of this dramedy.. but it’s not only about sex either. it’s about finding confidence, self-appreciation, overcoming obstacles, and finding love. there are so many fantastic characters with their own personality who all have their own way of dealing with all sorts of things. the characters really move you. and pay attention because there’s hidden secrets that i didn’t even realize were there the first time i watched. -yes. the FIRST time. im now watching it a second time because this is literally all that’s on my mind ever since i finished the series. i tried to start a new flick but these characters really latched onto me. i need to know more about them. i need a season 2 to find out what other crazy things will happen. it’s such a unique story line with such a bubbly sense of humor. lots of laughs.. gasps.. and tears in this show. i finished the season in one day. it’s definitely a 10/10 for me.
