Katsiama Poisoning

2010 Death at a Funeral is a truly terrible, crude remake of a hilarious 2007 British movie. As per usual, American film makers take a witty, understated, foreign movie and remake it as a course, foul-mouthed, over-the-top, slapstick comedy. It's obvious these industry professionals have low regard for the American movie goer, and produced a low brow version of the original because they think Americans can't understand the subtleties. It is too bad Peter Dinklage agreed to reprise his role in the 2010 American version, as even his performance suffers in this iteration. Don't waste your time on the 2010 movie. Instead, tune in to the original 2007 British Death at a Funeral for a wonderful movie with excellent performances.
