One of my favorite Disney Pixar films. Funny, relatable, and imperfect characters that honestly portray real experiences of many people and myself. I am so proud of Domee Shi and all of the creators that took part of this film! The animation styles were so fun and referenced so many other styles. Obviously a passion project that turned into a message that warmly embraces the ups and downs of identity exploration, tweenage development, and parenting especially as immigrants/POC. Another reminder that you do not have to look like a main character to relate to them. 5 stars <3
