A credible attempt at explaining the complexities of the political and social upheaval of the post WWII/Vietnam era through the experiences of one family of multiple generations and conflicting viewpoints. So much truth and heartbreak to try to capture in 109 minutes....I applaud the effort and the depth of character honesty. A sobering look that barely scratches the surface of those years that still haunt us today.

Excellent world-building and genuine intrigue. Highly recommended. Hope the series continues as there are 3 books in the Wool series and Season 1 leaves us hanging...

Super. Sensitive portait of real people figuring things out, feeling their feelings, and being real.

Lots of fun, great animation, compelling characters, good pace, loads of songs by you-know-who. Laughter and tears--a truly wonderful film.

Well done I thought. Sufficiently interesting, good pacing. Principal actors were authentic and convincing in their roles.

I admire both Cotillard and Driver, so I gave Annette a try even though the trailer looked weird (drama? horror?). Ultimately, I did not believe in their relationship. The best part of this film was the end.

Incredibly powerful performances depict a punk rock drummer who loses his hearing and must discover his real self as he is immersed in a recovery setting for deaf addicts. No easy answers, very honest and beautifully directed.
