I was sent A Hero`s Heart by my American pen friend for my opinion. I always enjoy period fiction, but to add to the pleasure, part of the setting was Whitby /Robin Hoods Bay which I`ve often visited. It was an easy read with a gallant hero and yet Regency double standards, with twists, turns, deceit and unrequited love. The smuggling, which did go on, added to my inability to put the book down For me it was a lovely way to get through lockdown I will be ordering her next book Forbidden Arabella.. soon.
