Brutally Honest! True exodus story in 3 hours
The story is shown as view points from the family that underwent the torture, a police officer, journalist, doctor, a IAS officer and a student (incidentally part of the family but unbeknownst to him) of "ANU" providing their viewpoint on the truth that happened and that which was perceived.
Throughout the movie one will feel at least some iota of pain the actual Kashmiri Hindus felt and I suppose that was the intent of the movie.
Some of the scenes are barbaric but is necessary to make the audience cognizant about the degree of brutality enforced upon by terrorists.
Some of the scene transitions like Krishna meeting Bitta and then his departure could have been handled better (Maybe it was post edit work which was sloppy). Child actors could have been cast better. But all this doesn't take away the impact of the story.
Overall a must watch.
