Having been in F&B for 23 years from the late 70's to 2000, it's great to see how the industry has been refined: better POS systems for both the bar and the kitchen; controls in the bar to track each BT, each register and security cameras in throughout the restaurant to have a record of the day's service. So, seeing Jon walk into a failing bar and turning it around, w/ some exceptions, usually the owner's/management's - case in point was the zombie owner of The Dugout in Chicago; Ed Cressey was quoted as saying, "You can’t build a bar in five days. I don’t care if you’re Jesus Christ,” and “It was a complete nightmare, what he put me through" speaking about Jon Taffer. Oddly enough, Jon and crew seem to do it on regular basis w/ few exceptions. This would be a positive post for the show, the concept and the crew!
One thing, Jon: I watched Packy's turn into Campbell's Irish Pub - I didn't see ONE dart lane. In an Irish pub?! I'm not Irish but I throw darts; if I or an Irishman walked into a"pub" without dart lanes, I know I I'd turn around and walk out. I think you dropped the ball on that one, Jon... but thumbs up in general!
