When I compare Brad Pitt’s performance in Kalifornia compared to his Oscar-winning performance in 2019‘s once upon a time in Hollywood, there is no comparison! His performance here is amazingly fabulous; he is scary from the get go! And Juliette Lewis is flawlessly ethereal as the sweet and simple hillbilly girl who idolizes him. Her performance is epic! Looking at this movie now that it’s 25 years old, I like it even more than I did when it first came out in 1993; It was called ultraviolet at the time but I guess now 25 years later it doesn’t seem as violent to me.

My grandmother came from Ireland and the stories she told about their hatred for the English who took all the livestock, grain, and everything edible to England caused the famine, not the loss of potatoes. This movie Shows the tragedy perpetrated by the English on the Irish.

The original Godzilla was much better. It was so obvious they were using sets and miniature towns etc.
