Dark, bleak-my favorite genre, with the addition of a superb Phillip Seymour-Hoffman.

Such bleak and unrelenting realism can only make you hope for a reprieve for the complex characters-they all struggle as we might imagine during such periods. Thankfully, the story adheres to relatively close relationships and not the existing depravity associated with war-so you can rejoice, somewhat, in their fleeting and rare episodes of joy—

Love Nicholas and this fun plot-I gave 5 stars for the creative and funny script-but really a 4.5 because a bit too long on the chase scenes. I’m too hungry to write more, but watch it-so few worthwhile scripts produced so this was a nice surprise.
