Drishyam 2 was a blessing to a disappointing 2022. The story keeps the viewer engaged throughly, gaitonde does justice to his character by getting massive hate. Ajay devgn acted well (although this kind of acting is his comfort zone). But for me , I wanted to watch this movie for akshay khanna who dons the role of IPS ahlawat brilliantly. Tbh this movie deserves the revenue it has made. It was a big success in theatres and will do well even on OTT. Kudos to the director and others involved. Rajat kapoor was great as well. Hope drishyam 3 carries on the franchise even further.

The film is okay enough to be released on OTP. Although, the movie lacks depth of the characters especially, the serial killer. Acting wise big disappointment from all actors especially chandrachur and akshay. Sargun irritates a lot. Concept of the story was good, direction was decent. Maybe a little depth of the antagonist and different supporting cast could have made this movie a lot better. 7/10 for the attempt, 3/10 for the acting and overall 5/10 for the whole movie.
