A tv series much needed for the Indian audiences and television industry! Sony tv really offers different shows... Dhadkan Zindagi Ki is one of its own kind. The series consists of just 64 episodes (yeah you here that right) and revolves around a surgeon Dr Deepika Sinha. Dr Sinha has recently joined a new hospital where she is leading a team of 4 young doctors. The unfortunate past, passion towards work, a woman with dignity and a route where life is in the hands of a human. Postives- CINEMATOGRAPHY : Brilliant camera work! Kudos to the team! PRODUCTION DESIGN : Rarely do we witness shows on Indian Television with such detailed and perfect set designs. The sets of the series elevates the series to another level! ACTING : Have to say from the leads to junior artists, no one has left any stones unturned. The Character of Dr Deepika Sinha is very dynamic and definitely the actress names it to herself. The supporting cast is also not less. They equally attracts your eyeballs to the television screens. DIRECTION : The director knows his job perfectly well! The storyline is smooth and perfect.... Everything is in sink and flow. The director must be appreciated for his flawless direction. Keep it up guys! I seriously hope to not see any cliches later and the spirit of the show remains the same! Good luck! God bless!

CRISSCROSS. An anthology movie that revolves around 5 women who are dealing with various hurdles. Positives - SOHINI SARKAR. Definitely the star of the show. Brilliantly performed and she perfectly delved into the character. After Sohini it was definitely Mimi Chakraborty who performed equally well. Rest Nusrat Jahan and Priyanka Sarkar were good. Jaya Ahsan also went into into the shoes of a depressed individual however at places she was bit over but that can be underestimated. STORYLINE. Most important factor of the film was its story. Five different characters with different backgrounds joins hand with a share of love! The film opens with hope and ends with practical love. A lesson much needed in these times. PRODUCTION DESIGN. The film had a very thoughtful production design. Though it was not the best but the efforts must be appreciated. Negatives - DIRECTION. It was moderate. Yeah indeed. The story demanded for a strong direction which could have kept you more excited to watch. Though you're engaged with the film throughout but the direction could've made it more and more exciting. CINEMATOGRAPHY. The film seriously lacked some good shots. The camera department was very weak. Very monotonous sometimes. More camera angles or something could have made it better. Overall the film was enjoyable and fills you up with reality. The story isn't living in a strawberry world it passes through realities. This is a very strong point of the film. And surely give it a chance!

RATING - 3.5 STARS / 5 STARS The film has a lot of things to offer you on the plate. Stay with it to eat it all! Basically the film is a psychological thriller unlike what probably its name would suggest. The film revolves around a "socially deprived" teacher with a rare enlarged canines condition Raktim played by Anirban Bhattacharjee and a very dignified and moralistic woman Monjuri played by Mimi Chakraborty. The film deals with Raktim's struggle with the outer world and his inner world. If you think deeply, this picture can even leave you wondering whether whatever experiences you are gaining are even real or not. Positives - ACTING. Anirban Bhattacharjee is a gem. He mingles up with every character with so much of ease. This character was one of the toughest to play I believe. Mimi Chakraborty also did so mu justice with the character. This character was literally the villian and the hero of the story and you can't judge the character here! Yes, that's the impact it has! STORYLINE. The story of this particular movie has literal chapters which gives you the insights of each and every character and how things happened in their lives. The narrative leaves most things on the audience that actually favoured the film. This kept the story engaging. PRODUCTION DESIGN. Indian entertainment always fails to understand the importance of production design but this film won't disappoint you. It has got the better kind of sets than any other movie needs. It perfectly compliments the characters and the storyline. DIRECTION & CINEMATOGRAPHY. The film offers a good director and serious cinematography to watch which is definitely a treat for your eyes. Negatives - LACKS SUSPENSE. There were many places where suspense could have been built but somehow there no such suspense that will make you question an object. The suspense factor could have raised the bar!

Sherni starring Vidya Balan, Vijay Raaz & many other is a film somewhat closely related to the Avni Sherni incident of Maharashtra. It is a family entertainer. The movie focuses around the symbiotic environment under which both humans and animals are living and how closely they are interdependent on each other. POSITIVES- The Acting. Not only confined to Vidya. All supporting cast have been equal screentime and they do their best. You hate some characters and love some. The subplots. The way in which the interlinked subplots are added are so good. The scenario. Haven't seen something this real for a really long time now. Just Amazing. The message. Use your brains because the film won't allow you to serve everything on the plate. There is not just one message here! NEGATIVE- Showtime. Showtime is a bit lengthy. NOTE- I personally don't think there is any propoganda in the film so don't listen to fools. Quoting Satyajit Ray here, "We have a fairly backward audience."

Paap is a Hoichoi original web series consisting of 5 episodes only as in season 1. The suspense thriller revolves around this bar dancer who visits her childhood home during durga pujo and later on the family encounters some infamous murders. With respect to suspense, the series has done a fairly good job. You'll find thriller as well which is also shown rightfully. The story is good and by the time you decide this person is the villian or this you come to know something really shocking. The series plays with symbolism. Paap just doesn't means sin only in the series. Read that again! It is a good watch with family! The actors have done exceptional job! Pooja is very convincing in her role. Her aura is strangely beautiful. You feel a kind of soothing air with the kind of expressions that pooja carries. The rest of the cast is excellent. For me, my favorite character was TIYA played by Solanki Roy. NEGATIVES- Hindi dub of the show is of very low quality. Its better to watch the series only in bengali. The series doesn't leave a long lasting impact on you. However the ending of the series does excites you to watch the next part.

I was really looking forward to watch it ever since the trailer of it released but I couldn't make it up to the theater so watched it on jio cinema yesterday. Well it won't be wrong to say that it's a wonderfully beautiful film! Absolutely loved this one! Simple, engaging and relatable! The film gives us a really very beautiful message. It can leave teary eyed at a point too! The whole movie looked so realistic that I was able to relate each and every scene to a scenario of my own family. Just a few differences it had. I am impressed with the director's vision, beautifully stated! Only reason why it receives a 4 is a small unanswered situation at the end. (Spoiler alert) You don't have money to pay back loan but then how did you manage to open a music school? Overall a great film to watch!

The movie is an excellent representation of an artists pain . The concept of the film was very good. It was beautifully written and presented. The direction of the film was exceptional. Jeet outshined Abir in the film. Though all actors were excellent on their part. Jeet was so much into the character that it didn't looked like as if he was acting rather it looked like it was the character that has come to life. Suspense factor was , however, not really well presented because from the beginning of the film the hero and villian character was somewhere clear but at one point you realise that maybe not the character you expect to be the "Asur" is asur but the other person. Nusrat was really amazing in the film. Beware of her character! Haha. The only flaw in the storyline was a traditional plot or cause. But that doesn't mean the film was bad. It was exceptionally unique and different. Very different to whatever Indian Audience has been exposed to. Overall a great great experience!
