I absolutely adore the book, and i think the casting was done well. Understandably, they had to cut so much from the book while putting this into production- making it more of a RomCom than keeping all of the details (i mean, it would've been a 4 hour movie if they kept everything.) As a movie, it was beautiful, well made, and captures the essence of their relationship. As a book fan, I was disheartened at the lack of June, Raf, the blended and divorced family representation, and the details that makes the book so special in the creation of the characters. 4/5 for the beauty of the film, minus a star for the details we lost.
