I had a very high expectation of this movie because of the main characters, and positive reviews. The movie started off nice, but it failed to maintain the hype. It would've been good if they injected scientific or any sort of believable explanations (as long as it makes sense) to at least satisfy the curiosity of the viewers as to why the kids suddenly explode. - The plot was pointless, to be honest. The explosions were not explained. Not even a single theory from the characters was given. I mean, they could've just given us something to ponder on, right? - The characters were a bit overaged for the role, so I was not really convinced of the acting. I mean, I am 20, and I am technically younger than the actors, but their roles were 17/18, which turn out to be younger than me. So I was really confused. Their acting was nice, but it was not convincing. - I don't know if it's just me but I found no chemistry between the main leads. I love Katherine and Charlie as I've watched their films before, but their tandem here was a bit forced? I don't know. I cringed in their romantic scenes, and I had to skip some. - The main lead (Mara) was a total mess. Drugs, alcohol, being too much in love? I mean, who the f thinks of falling in love in the middle of that kind of situation? That explains why I don't find the romance interesting. Her character was kinda annoying as she gives off this typical "I'm not like any other girls" vibe, but lacked interesting characteristics despite her doing all these "cool stuff" like drugs, alcohol, etc. I can keep the list going, but I will now end it here. I'm gonna go find another movie to compensate the disappointment that I got from this movie. :<

Personally, I find the cinematography of this film amazing as it really gives off an "eerie" ambience/feels; but the plot was very predictable, and slow-paced. The poor storyline made the film less interesting despite how good the actors were with their roles. No doubt it received poor ratings from movie critics (such as Rotten Tomatoes). That's all. P.S. I don't get the hype of this movie years ago.

Tbh, my expectations of this drama were not that high because of some reasons. But I was wrong! This drama is a masterpiece! I am not exaggerating hahaha. Watch it to believe. Haha. But, really~ this drama is a must-watch! It is a complete package! Romance? Check. Comedy? Check. Drama? Check. Thrill? Check. Action? Check. Visuals? BIG CHECKKKKK! The main characters (and even some of the supporting ones) are soooooo fine! I was not a fan of Nam Ji Hyun and DO, but after watching this drama, I AM TOTALLY FANGIRLING OVER THEM (individually & as a kdrama couple) 😭💗 Their chemistry is just 💯!! I did not expect Kyungsoo's strong charisma in this drama huhu. No wonder it is one of the kdramas with highest ratings in SoĶor. Deserve!!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍
