Flight IC-814 was hijacked in 1999 by Ibrahim Athar, Shahid Akhtar Syed, Sunny Ahmed Qazi, Zahoor Mistry and Shakir. Now Anubhav Sinha has made a web series on this named #IC814TheKandaharHijack and released on Netflix... He has cleverly named the hijackers as Chief, Doctor, Burger, Shankar and Bhola to whitewash the crime of Islamic terrorists. ISI involvement is not shown, Taliban is portrayed as good guys, hijackers are also portrayed in a positive light as they played antakshari with the passengers. This way facts are erased and culprits are presented as heroes. Bollywood has been doing this since forever, they have presented terrorists like Dawood Ibrahim, Karim Lala, Haji Mastan, Abdul Latif etc as messiahs and robinhoods in movies like Deewar, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, Raees, D etc.
