I think, above all, the movie has a lot of heart.
It's not a, "blockbuster", movie, but it is very entertaining and the race scenes are exciting, particularly if you are into cycling, or Colorado.
The interaction between the characters as they grow into a tight knit, group, draws you in and almost makes you feel like you are part of the group.
The music in the film is very 80's. For people who lived through that era it's a time capsule. How could you have classic 80's, racing steel bikes, and not have music that is correct to the time.
All in all the movie is about Becky's and David's transition from teenagers to adults.
Leaving their adolescence behind and facing the problems and challenges of life and dealing with them.
It's a great film about a transitional period in almost every person's life.
There's been a lot of bad reviews about the film, but if you give it a chance it will grow on you.
