Overall, this is a fun movie that had an unexpected storyline! (Or should I say storylines). The differences between her and her mom and then making her mom proud was relatable for me as the wild second child. There’s nothing quite like surprising your parent and making them beyond proud (I teared up more than expected). I also love Dolly Parton and her music. it spoke just the way Dolly does - sassy but spiritual. The previews for the movie are completely different (in my opinion). It’s not the perfect movie but it’s a fun, feel good movie with a bit more depth and Dolly Parton soul than expected. :)
