The superhero genre is exhausted, and this movie is gasping for air. The same old worn-out ideas about truth and nobility look shallow and hypocritical in the light of everything that has happened in Hollywood's recent years. For me, this was the end of my journey with the superhero genre. DC or Marvel, I will not be watching anymore.

woke humor that actually works! huh!

i've never read the novels or played the games. but as a tv show, The Witcher starts off great with a particularly mesmerising fight scene in episode 1 or 2. but then it starts to decline at about mid-season and lapses into a mess of an episodic mediocrity. even Geralt's awesome fighting style seems to deteriorate into a generic swordplay.
