I felt it was a eerie and dark kinda film. Without giving away details, the way the film is made, it keeps you thinking and guessing. The wife of Mr. Stackhouse was troubled and is the reason I believe he started doing the things he did. The marriage was strained, I also think the writing wasn't given enough credit and the way Mr. Stackhouse acted was weird and very believable, if a person delays communicating there are consequences which this film shows. I took away a star because the ending could have imo been a little more detailed but, if you understand the plot of the movie you will understand why the ending is the way it was. The writer's for this movie weren't given enough credit imo for being different and the ending not being typical.

I feel like the fight with the takeover monster was to short and I miss the song of the old Godzilla, that's minor but it took so long to get to the fight then ended too fast imo., but I still loved it

I thought it was riveting and confusing at the same time, but well acted and scripted if I'm making sense. This was a good movie imo, great to watch.

I don't remember why I didn't see this movie, I heard about it but never seen it. Kurt Russell but awesone, he was Adamant about finding his wife, I didnt give 5 stars because I felt they should of been exposed ending with the truck some parts not believable, It is a great thriller though with seeing for sure !

It was great acting it made so angry watching it, I would never let my children portray a character in a movie like this. Nor would I play the victims or the horrible actress who played the step parent. It was so believable it made me want to tell the police!!!!!! The people who made this movie disgusted me but I wanted her to come out well, but this is extremely difficult to watch.

I couldn't see this as kid but. My mother wouldn't allow me to, but when I got older I watched it and did my research since I'm in church now and know for a fact a person can be possessed with a Demon. I'VE seen it and know first hand it can happen, Not to this extend though. With some things that happened, it was for the movie but this is the most horrifying horror movie ever made to date, and because it's based on a true story that happened to a boy not a girl. It was very creepy, and dark, believable, evil.heart wrenching, watch the power of good and evil, a great movie to watch, the music matched the movie just creepy and terrifying. for a treat watch the uncut version alone at might if you dare.

Totally love this movie and the action seems are best and the script was awesome my short review.

This was a great family movie Julia and Owen were great parents, it made you really want them as parents, the sister of "Auggie" was a great iunderstsnding one, I wish I had a sister like her. This movie had it's mean people too, but, it lets me know that real life works the same way good and evil everywhere. This is definitely worth watching . I give it a 8/10.

I love this show but, as a born again believer the character of Hannah is not who I as a believer in Christ and wouldn't pattern my life after being a born again believer, I don't use profanity when I'm angry or getting my poìnt across, I also don't prejudge my children no matter what they've done, or tell them I disown them for another child, or prejudge others because they've did me wrong and then use cruel words and try to use the bible and quote scriptures to make my point. How dare this show and the characters say this is real life, no its not. Thank God I take it for what it is, "acting" but don't say real born again believers act this way because they don't.

Another movie I'd forgotten about but now I've watched it, Very intense, intriguing, disturbing, unsettling, not for kids at all, kind of creepy too, but. Not scary if you know what I mean. The acting was superb by both actors. I was glued to my tablet and also wanted to turn away, I don't want to give away anything, but, this is definetly a must see for sure if anyone has past it by like me, I totally hated the ending, it made me feel like it was a waste of all that happened.
