This book had no plot and tried to make something so dramatic that was just a stupid thing the boy did. When the boy sang, he didn't mean it for patriotism, but his parents and the news saw him as a perfect child. He isn't- he just broke the rules on purpose and is hiding behind the excuse of patriotism, all while ruining his teacher's life. He acts innocent and doesn't acknowledge the damage he has done. The worst part is that the author writes it like the child is the victim and has experienced something that no child should go through.
