After watching the movie, I was disappointed it didn't have the same spark the original ones did. Then, soon after, I watched a clip of Harrison Ford talking about the Dial of Destiny. He made it clear that this Indy is not the Indy we knew, and that time can change things. That being said, time is very important, and after watching that clip it gave me a whole new perspective on the film. It's not the originals, because they acknowledge what time has done to Indy, while still being one heck of an adventure.
