Jew Hard Lift Harder

Horrible cinematography. It is very obvious that this film was directed by someone who has never directed a musical before. (Writing, producing, and directing do NOT make for experience or any two former of those things synonymous with the latter). Extremely disappointed. It looks like a cheap 2000’s made for tv musical. The dialogue and lack of character development are both painful in equal measure and pacing makes watching this film painful. The ONLY benefit in the suffering comes out of Idina Menzel and Billy Porter. Literally it. Camila Cabello’s performance had me wishing I could reach through the screen to pinch her nose closed and hold her head down so she could ACTUALLY sing.
