Finally decided to give this a go. It’s mostly b-grade fun with only 1-2 stand out actors. I was so disappointed in Elsa Pataky’s performance as it was like she was supposed to be on a totally different show……her vibe was way to out of synch it was cringe 😬 worthy. The lead , Charlotte Best, was better and came across more natural on screen. But her accent in the opening scene was odd it took us a bit to work out she was Aussie. The stand out for me was Madeline Madden, She was Great! Natural and relaxed on screen & I wish she had more scenes! The scenery and sets were great! Definitely got it right in the costume & make up. There were great adrenaline moments but it was just the cringeworthy moments that made it a tad awkward at times. Great for late teens -25 year age group but if your into brilliant acting, great scripts and meaningful Aussie shows , give this one a miss. Want fun and a bit funky, defo one to watch!
