I was disappointed in the characters. Perhaps I had my expectations set to high for to long awaiting the release. I think the writing was well done. the storyline helped bring important issues such as PTSD and addiction more in the spotlight. I can appreciate the complex flawed characters that we relate to. However, I didn’t enjoy the story. And im sure Hannah captured the morality shifts taking place in the 60s and 70s but it wasn’t my cup of tea.
