Zack Snyder made a film that transcends the norms of the superhero genre, a four hour balancing act that perfectly dishes out large scale spectacle and small scale human moments. While it leaves the door open to be continued the film tells a story rather than being a placeholder for spin offs and sequels like so many others. This movie is honestly a moving experience. Just out of the cinema. As a long standing MCU fan this ranks among my favourites. One of marvel studios strongest films. It just feels like its own entity within the universe. Maybe not everyone's taste but it was a fresh take on the genre.
