The Salty Rose is an amazing read! I thoroughly enjoyed Out of Windsor & therefore anxiously awaited the release of The Salty Rose! It was beyond my expectations! This is certainly a sequel that was worth the wait and definitely not a disappointment, as with many sequels. I continue to be amazed by the author's dedication to historic detail. I marvel at the hours of intense research Beth must have done to complete this work. And then the beautiful blending of the historical facts with fiction must be applauded. Excellent historical fiction story that was very difficult to put down, especially because of the continued "saltiness" of Marie du Trieux. Quite a woman for her time! Bravo, Beth Caruso!
